North Shore residents asked to fill their baskets for food drive

The Greater Vancouver Food Bank is hosting its third annual Citywide Food Drive this Saturday, Sept. 15.

As part of the event, food bank staff and volunteers will be on-site at the Safe-On-Foods at 333 Brooksbank Ave. in North Vancouver that day in order to collect food donations from the public.

In addition, in the days leading up to the food drive, volunteers are also dropping off empty, marked bags on North Shore doorsteps and the public is asked to fill those bags with nutrious, non-pershiable ifood items and leave them on their doorsteps for collection before 9 a.m. on Saturday.
