North Vancouver author Karen Harmon will read from her book Looking for Normal at Capilano library in Edgemont Village, April 9, 6:30-7:30 pm. Harmon will speak about her North Shore childhood and the impetus to write Looking for Normal, a memoir about her dysfunctional family set between the Depression Era of the 1930s all the way to the Free Love of the 1960s and ‘70s. She will talk about her writing process and then read from her “heartwarming” memoir, followed by a Q&A and book sale. All are welcome to attend.
