Lions Gate Hospital surgical centre campaign reaches $90 million

Emergency room physician Dr. Alec Ritchie rappels down the side of the seven-storey Paul Myers Tower at Lions Gate Hospital on July 25, along with Lt. Michael Kelso of the North Vancouver City Fire Department playing the part of Seymour the Lion.

Ritchie and Seymour, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation's mascot, unveiled a 23-metre banner celebrating a $90-million milestone in the campaign to raise $100 million to build a new medical and surgical centre.
