Youth collects cans to raise money for hospital

Nine-year-old Taryn Steane created her Cans for COVID campaign in order to raise money for her local hospital.

Over the summer, Stean collected recyclables in her North Shore neighbourhood and raised a total of $500.

Steane said she would like to thank all the people who contributed.

Steane plans to donate the money to Lions Gate Hospital.
