For the 10th year, West Vancouver Firefighters put muscle into the housing crisis, installing the Forest of Miracles display, which includes more than 100 Christmas trees at Dundarave Park.

The trees will help fund the Lookout Society’s purchase of permanent, rent-geared-to-income housing for homeless North Shore seniors.

Presented by the Dundarave Festival of Lights, the Forest of Miracles has raised more than $400,000 in charitable donations from 2008 to 2017 to support the work of the Lookout Society on the North Shore.

Decorated by local families, community groups and businesses, each tree in the Forest of Miracles raises charitable donations for the Lookout Society.

In 2016-2017 every dollar donated by the community was matched with two dollars from the Lookout Foundation. This allowed Lookout to purchase a North Shore condominium for a homeless senior.
