Charity challenge raises $20k for CapU, North Shore Neighbourhood House

In celebration of Capilano University’s 50th anniversary, more than 50 members of CapU’s community participated in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge on June 24. Half of the more than $20,000 they raised will fund student bursaries at CapU and half will support young people in education, housing, transportation, food security and a broad range of family support services at North Shore Neighbourhood House.

CapU president Paul Dangerfield presented the North Shore Neighbourhood House with a cheque for $10,000 on Nov. 13.
