Partnering with scientists and local experts, the David Suzuki Foundation and Ocean Wise presented their new Atl'kitsem/Howe Sound Conservation Map during an event held at Gleneagles Golfcourse in West Vancouver last week.
The online map explores local marine ecology and conservation opportunities around Howe Sound, including the location of glass sponse reefs, estuaries and eelgrass, shipping routes, herring spawning grounds, log-sorting sites and more.
