North Vancouver Grade 12 student volunteer Victoria Jackson helps Grade 7 student Candace Timbol find the right dress for her elementary school graduation.

The school district's Education Services Centre served as the venue for 44 Dresses' Boutique Day, during which young students can pick out an outfit for graduation.

44 Dresses organizer Lisa Upton and North Vancouver School District Supt. Mark Pearmain (both pictured) also lent a hand during Boutique Day on April 28.

Jackson was supported through the 44 Dresses program five years ago and came back to pay it forward.

The annual program sees community members donate formal wear for students on a tight budget.
