The Skate Plaza at Shipyard Commons is open for one last go-around of free public skating for the season this weekend. Until March 1, from noon to 7 p.m. the 12,000-square-foot venue located at the City of North Vancouver waterfront will be open. Skate rentals available onsite.

North Vancouver’s first Teen Nerd Nite is slated for this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club at 170 West Third St. in the City of North Vancouver. This will include STEM activities, food, and educational speakers. Click here for more information.

You can meet the artists involved in the recently opened Greenspace exhibition at West Vancouver’s Ferry Building Gallery tomorrow from 2 to 3 p.m. The mixed-media show, running until March 15, features the work of Janice Beaudoin, Jayme Chalmers and Jane Hennessy.

This is the final weekend to take in First Impressions Theatre’s production of Nunsense, a musical comedy about the five nuns who survive a fateful encounter with botulism. The show runs tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. at Deep Cove Shaw Theatre. Tickets: $23
