Charges, guilty pleas and sentences are beginning to trickle in stemming from the 2011 Stanley Cup riot, which saw bedlam in downtown Vancouver. A seventh North Shore resident is among the latest to be charged.

A seventh North Shore resident will soon face the law for allegedly taking part in the 2011 Stanley Cup riot.
Crown counsel recently announced the latest batch of charges approved for suspected rioters, among them, 20-year-old North Vancouver resident Cole Allen Klawikowski.
Klawikowski is facing one count of break and enter and one count of taking part in a riot.
He is due in court for a first appearance on Aug. 30.
Five other adults and one teenager from North Vancouver have already been charged for their alleged roles in the incident. Two have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
North Vancouver resident Julian Eiers, 19, is due in court on Thursday and is expected to plead guilty to breaking and entering and participating in a riot.
In total, 137 adults and youths from around the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington State have been charged. Vancouver Police are still waiting for Crown approval on another 80 charges, and charges are pending for another 20 alleged rioters, according to the Ministry of Justice.
Three of the four rioters to be sentenced so far have received jail time. All of them pleaded guilty.
