West Vancouver’s Skye Clarke scored a hat trick of gold medals in the U16 division at the Canadian Junior Freestyle Skiing Championships held recently at Mount St. Louis Moonstone in Ontario, winning slopestyle, big air and halfpipe.

Her results were strong enough to also land her on the podium in the open junior (U18) division, placing her second in big air and halfpipe and third in slopestyle. Tallying the results from all three events, the 15-year-old placed second overall in the combined Canadian Junior Championships.

Clarke, a Grade 10 student at Rockridge Secondary, continued to fly high at the B.C. Freestyle Championships, winning gold in U16 slopestyle and big air.
