North Vancouver resident David Ousted of the Vancouver Whitecaps will be one of the boys in blue on Thursday, May 4 as part of Jeans Day, a fundraiser for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Individuals, families, and corporations across BC and the Yukon are encouraged to purchase Jeans Day buttons and lapel pins and don their head-to-toe denim attire, a.k.a. the “Canadian Tuxedo,” on May 4.

Jeans Day buttons can be purchased for $5, and lapel pins for $20 at these official retailers: Save-On-Foods, Overwaitea Foods, PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare, Bulkley Valley Wholesale, Thrifty Foods, and Country Grocer on Vancouver Island. Virtual Jeans Day buttons can also be purchased online at jeansday.ca.
