KRIS Young of the University of British Columbia is stuffing stat sheets in the Canada West basketball league.

Young, a North Vancouver native, flirted with a triple double on Saturday, scoring 20 points with nine rebounds and seven assists while also adding three steals and two three-pointers in just 26 minutes in a 63-48 win over the University of Winnipeg.

Young is putting up amazing numbers in her third year with the Thunderbirds, her averages of 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists all ranking in the top five in the Canada West league. UBC is at home this weekend, hosting Brandon University on Friday at 6 p.m. and the University of Regina on Saturday at 5 p.m.
