Kelly Scott's team made history at the B.C. Scotties Women's Curling Provincial Championships hosted by the North Shore Winter Club Jan. 23-29, winning their record fifth title to advance to the Canadian championships.

Scott's rink defeated Marla Mallett's team 6-5 on Sunday with Scott icing the win with a draw to the four-foot on her final shot. The win was the

third provincial championship in a row for Kelowna's Scott, giving her the first B.C. three-peat since 1964.
