The Handsworth Royals senior boys soccer team upset the North Shore No. 1-ranked West Vancouver Highlanders 1-0 Nov. 8 to earn the league’s final berth in the provincial championships. The Royals, who finished second in regular season play behind the Highlanders, will be the North Shore’s lone representative at the AAA B.C. Championships running Nov. 22-24 at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West.
