The Collingwood Cavaliers knocked off the previously undefeated Handsworth Royals 2-1 to win the North Shore senior girls field hockey final Thursday at Rutledge Field. Leah Frome scored both goals for the Cavaliers as Collingwood employed a lockdown defensive strategy to contain the high-powered Royals. Both teams will now head to their respective provincial championship finals with gold as their goal, the Royals are ranked No. 1 at the AAA level while Collingwood goes in ranked first in AA.
