The West Vancouver Field Hockey Club's men’s A Team took on the Surrey Lions in soggy conditions March 31 at Rutledge Field in game 1 of a two game series. West Van won the opener 4-3 and took the return match in Surrey 3-1. The series win earned the West Van squad promotion back to the Vancouver Premier League.
