The Capilano University men’s volleyball team scored a pair of big wins over the weekend of January 4 & 5, sweeping a two-game series against the Vancouver Island University Mariners at Capilano Sportsplex.

The win bumped the Blues to 8-6 on the season and moved them into a tie for third place in the Pacwest League. The Mariners came into the series ranked No. 4 in Canada but dropped down to No. 11 after the losses while the Blues moved up from No. 13 to No. 8.
