Canada's U21 women's national field hockey team drew first blood with a 1-0 win Wednesday over the U19 team from the United States in an exhibition series the teams are playing at West Van's Rutledge Field.

The U17 teams from Canada and the United States are also playing in the series with the U.S. Team claiming the first game 2-0 Wednesday. Action continues Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. photo Mike Wakefield
