Dear Editor:
Re: Dad Told Kids Too Young to Ride Bus on Their Own, Sept. 8 front-page story.
I can only say: incredulous, unbelievable and ridiculous! The provincial ministry for children and family are poking their unwanted noses into situations that are none of their business. When a parent makes the decision to let his children travel on their own (albeit travelling together as a group and monitored by their cellphones) then that is their decision to make. The ministry has a history of letting at-risk youths alone without support they badly need, but they have no qualms about getting involved with caring parents.
