Dear Editor:
A suggestion has been made for gondolas as transport options to relieve pressure on existing bridges. Why not have a private group finance and build a bridge off the east end of Mount Seymour Parkway and connect to Belcarra? The group’s return are tolls.
The provincial and federal government pay for the connecting infrastructure at each end. Bridge traffic will be eased at first and second narrows and east-west traffic through downtown will be reduced.
