Dear Editor:
Here they go, spending billions of dollars on SkyTrain extensions, and for North Vancouver we get a couple of extra buses. The (TV evening news) reporter was correct the other day when he said the North Shore gets shafted, every time they talk SkyTrain. They haven’t had a look at the traffic on some of the side streets in North Vancouver. Some of them are as backed up as the main streets.
Why can they not extend the SkyTrain to North Vancouver? Is it because it might cost another billion dollars? That’s a drop in the bucket these days for governments. We don’t want more buses.
