A SkyTrain is pulling into the North Shore ... in 30 years. Maybe. That was the message TransLink’s CEO shared recently in the wake of local politicians gesturing for a local rail link that would serve North and West Vancouver.
Although TransLink’s 30-year regional transportation strategy could include a North Shore SkyTrain, something that could drastically alter people’s commutes for the better, some experts argue there’s easier, cheaper and less disruptive ways to fix North Shore transit woes.
