Since we formed, our club has connected with resources across Vancouver as we strive to educate ourselves about how we can make our school more sustainable, and we were amazed by how many great resources exist in Vancouver.

Celebrations for Earth Day were held all around Chilliwack on Sunday. One of the largest gatherings, at Pioneer Park in Yarrow, featured pony rides, a food forest tour, yoga, magic, food and plenty of merchants hawking eco-friendly goods and services. Elsewhere, several river clean-ups were organized as residents chipped in to pick up trash left by others.
