District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services members lift a woman on a stretcher out of Lynn Canyon on Monday afternoon. Rescue season is kicking into high gear for district firefighters who are tasked with helping dozens of injured hikers off the mountains and trails every summer, especially the Grouse Grind, Lynn Canyon, Baden Powell and Quarry Rock.
