Lions Gate Hospital operating room nurse Jane Merrick is served a fresh salad by sisters Sarah and Christina Culver from their Culver City Salads food truck, which is one of the food trucks participating in the hospital’s Foodie February Fundraiser. Every Thursday in February a selection of three food trucks will be parked in the hospital’s upper parking lot, off 15th street, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Along with Culver City Salads, the lineup includes Big Red’s Poutine, Hotties Pasta Bar, The Reef Runner, Feasto – The Rolling Bistro, and Reel Mac and Cheese. A combination of three of these trucks will be on site Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27. Partial proceeds from every meal purchased will go to the hospital’s campaign to purchase a new CT scanner.
