North Vancouver RCMP responded and North Vancouver City Fire Department members assisted five adults down.

“Alcohol was involved,” said Cpl. Geoff Harder, North Vancouver RCMP spokesman. “All five were arrested and released on promise to appear for a court date in August – for mischief.”

Harder said three of the five people arrested were employed as contractors on the worksite.

Of the climbers, two are from North Vancouver, one is from Maple Ridge, one is from Coquitlam and one from Vancouver.

WorkSafeBC has also started its own investigation and Onni is co-operating, Harder said.
