Traffic delays are expected on the Lions Gate Bridge Saturday evening, continuing into Sunday morning as crews work on the bridge deck. Only one lane will be open in each direction from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, and there will be single-lane, alternating traffic from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 22. The sidewalk on the Lions Gate Bridge will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Drivers are being asked to use the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge as an alternative route on Saturday night. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are also being asked to obey all signs and traffic control personnel and watch out for workers on the bridge.

Work crews will be removing the temporary bridge plates and paved transitions that were previously installed on the bridge.
