Dear Editor:
The other day, while enjoying some sample Kush at my local marijuana dispensary, my tranquility was assaulted by grunts and screams from across the street. This offensive row emanated from a recently opened kick-boxing dojo.
There, young men and women were desperately trying to maim each other in pursuit of their black belts. What was once a peaceful residential enclave had been turned into an arena of martial combat.
Although the building was a hundred yards away, the smell of perspiration and unwashed feet was rife in the air. Surely these enterprises could limit their location to marginal industrial areas and not adjacent to peaceable partakers of the weed. Something must be done!
