North Vancouver RCMP have evacuated the campus at Bodwell High School following a bomb threat.
Police cordoned off the area on the 900 block of Harbourside Drive, Monday morning and blocked access to the Spirit Trail.
“The heavy police presence is due to an alleged bomb threat made to the school. The school is not in session as they have spring break. The school residence, which is attached to the school, is being evacuated as a precaution,” said Cpl. Richard De Jong, North Vancouver RCMP spokesman. “Buses are being brought in. Expect traffic delays.”
A representative from the school declined to comment.
