NORTH Vancouver RCMP are hoping the public can help them identify a man wanted for an armed robbery at a local pet food store.
The suspect entered North Shore Pet Foods in the 1200-block of Marine Drive Tuesday evening around 5: 20 p.m., pulled out a knife and demanded money from the clerk. Police say he then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, headed in the direction of Bridgeman Avenue. The man is described as a white male in his early-to mid-20s, about six feet tall, with a slender build. He was wearing a black sweater, jeans and white running shoes as well as a toque with B.C. Lions logos during the crime.
Anyone who can identify the man or offer information about the crime is asked to call North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311.
