The Handsworth Royals senior boys basketball team scored a tight one-point win, 65-64, over Sentinel Feb. 12 in a regular season battle between the two top teams in the North Shore AAA league. The Spartans, however, still finished first in the league after splitting the season series against the

Royals and will host the Howe Sound Championships running Feb. 21-28. The double-knockout tournament will conclude Feb. 27 and, if necessary, Feb. 28
