Members of North Shore Rescue and their supporters gathered for a Christmas party atop Grouse Mountain Nov. 24.

The organization is made up of approximately 40 volunteers who are trained in search and rescue operations in mountain, canyon and urban settings. The team performs approximately 90 searches a year.
