"Matt's Oasis" is the result of four years of work by 68 year old "guerilla gardener" Matt Aiston. Matt has taken on the unofficial role of gardener for a strip of land and pathways bordering the northern entrance to Lions Gate Bridge and adjoining Klahanie Park.

Putting in roughly two hours of labour a day, Matt has transformed a neglected wooded area into a cheery and colourful "oasis" that he loves to share.
