The grueling 50-kilometre Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run tested the physical and mental strength of racers on Saturday as 212 set out from Nelson Canyon Park in West Vancouver but only 189 made it all the way to the finish in Deep Cove.

Lisa Polizzi won the women's race, finishing in a time of five hours 53 minutes and 20 seconds, while Nathan Barrett won the men's Knee Knacker by more than 20 minutes, clocking a time of 4:56:43. For full race results visit www.kneeknacker.com.
