If the lights and gaudy store displays are any indication, the holiday season is upon us. But if you’re counting on a white Christmas, the grinches at Environment Canada are likely to disappoint you, predicting an especially mild winter on the south coast this year.
The North Shore’s ski hills may already be blanketed, but snow lovers who live closer to sea level will be lucky to see more than a few flakes. Not everyone sees that as bad news, however: rain may not be as pretty, but at least it’s easy to drive in.
