WITH a provincial election looming, the B.C. Liberals unveiled a polarizing 2013 budget on Tuesday. Critics faulted the budget for failing to insulate the province from global economic volatility and its optimistic forecasts on asset sales. Many Liberal stalwarts have praised the party for keeping tight limits on spending and committing to saving the province $1 billion in efficiencies over the next three years.
