Over 120 firefighter candidates for the three North Shore fire departments underwent rigorous physical and stress testing over a two day period at the District of North Vancouver Fire Training Facility as they tackled the “skills and abilities” drills that simulate scenarios that could occur in a typical day for firefighters.
