ARTS

The Delta Music Makers Community Band is looking for all players, but particularly low brass: trombone, baritone horn, French horn and tuba. This 50-piece concert band rehearses at Delta Secondary School, Ladner, on Tuesday evenings, 7:15 to 9:45 p.m. All musicians on any instrument may contact music director Curt Jantzen about joining at cjband@telus.net or 604-946-2309, or assistant music director Margaret Behenna at mbehenna@dccnet.com. High school experience or equivalent is helpful but not required. The Delta Music Makers provide a warm welcome to those who have not picked up their horn for a while.
