The SOS Children's Village B.C. Parade of Christmas Holiday Gala took place at the Grouse Mountain chalet Nov. 29. More than 200 guests viewed the SOS Gingerbread Village on display in the mountaintop Spirit Gallery.

The evening event included a silent auction, live entertainment and was hosted by The Beat 94.5 FM's Mandy Gill.

Proceeds from the Parade of Christmas Gingerbread Village, which will remain on display until Dec. 24, support vulnerable children and youths, including those in foster care, in the local community.
