Members of the North Shore Restorative Justice Society held their annual fundraising gala at the Holiday Inn in North Vancouver Oct. 26. More than 100 guests were in attendance to celebrate the society's 15th anniversary.

Guest speakers, a silent auction and 50/50 draw were among the festivities. Funds raised will support the society, a non-profit group that advocates and supports restorative responses to crime and conflict.

The society's Restorative Response Program has been providing an effective alternative to the court system since 1997.
