The annual Christmas Festival, presented by the Lower Lonsdale Business Association in partnership with the City of North Vancouver, was held at The Shipyards at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver Dec. 1.
A wide array of festive-themed activities were offered, including Mike Battie's fire juggling show, performances by carolers and kids crafts. Santa Claus was in attendance and City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto helped in the lighting of a giant Christmas tree.
The event also provided an opportunity for those in attendance to view the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Christmas by the Sea Parade of Trees, which benefits the Harvest Project and Hollyburn Family Services' Youth Safe House.
