The second edition of the Artists for Conservation Festival was held at Grouse Mountain from Oct. 13 to 21. The cultural event celebrated nature through a conservation-themed art show featuring an array of international artists. Other festivities included film screenings about art and conservation, lectures, live painting demonstrations, adult and youth workshops and live entertainment. Funds raised support a variety of conservation causes. On Oct. 13, festival-goers were invited to a wine and cheese meet-the-artists event, which provided an opportunity for the public to engage with the artists whose works were on display.
