THE North Vancouver Block Watch is celebrating 25 years of watchful eyes with a free event at Centennial Theatre on April 4th.

The celebration is scheduled to feature speeches from North Vancouver RCMP Sgt. Kevin Bracewell and social media authority Jesse Miller.

A 22-year RCMP veteran, Bracewell completed an operational tour in Afghanistan in 2011. He was also charged with training the Iraqi police force in 2005.

Bracewell is a use-of-force instructor and a non-violent crisis intervention instructor.

Miller has spent the last six years speaking to schools and companies about social networking behaviour and online content evaluation.

Tickets can be obtained from the North Vancouver Block Watch office or the North Vancouver RCMP detachment at 147 East 14th Street.
