Craig James, B.C.'s acting chief electoral officer, announced June 30 that he was rolling the mail-in referendum's dates back to make up for time lost through the Canada Post labour dispute.
Voters in all four of the North Shore constituencies should have received their voting packages. Those who have not can request one by calling Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683.
The deadline to request a voting package is now midnight on July 22.
Ballots must be received by Elections BC before 4: 30 p.m. on Aug. 5 in order to be counted.
Ballots can be mailed in, or handed in to an Elections BC collection centre or a Service BC centre.
