November is a popular month for paint manufacturers to release their fall line-up.
This year there appears to be a trend toward calming colours. Think of warm, down-to-earth brown tones and soft beachside hues. Natural bright colours and soft pastels are also popular. The cold weather tends to put homeowners in a cocooning mode. This means consumers like to surround themselves with comforting colours that bring a sense of serenity to their homes. If you love neutrals and a minimal look then Wishful Thinking is for you - perfect for a playful space or a cottage-style wall.
CIL paints have also released a palette of warm colours for the fall. There appears to be a movement away from greys, blacks and acidic bright tones that have been popular in past years. The trend is toward warmer hues that deliver a more modern and livable colour scheme within the home.
Swiss Coffee will be popular with pale cream lovers and Lily Pond will surely please those that crave pastel green in their homes.
