Canadian Blood Services is inviting community members to show their support for hospital patients and blood donors by participating in the Wrap It Up Red Holiday Campaign.
Local residents are invited to take a photo or video of themselves wrapping something up in red, stating why they are supporting Canadian Blood Services this holiday season, and share it on Twitter, Facebook or YouTube using the hashtag #WrapItUpRed.
Blood collection can be challenging during the holidays when donors are travelling or are busy with family, according to a press release. Upcoming North Vancouver blood donor clinics include: Wednesday, Dec. 24, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Delbrook Community Centre; and Saturday, Jan. 3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at North Lonsdale United Church.
