NORTH Vancouver RCMP is asking the public to help find a 60-year-old man who went missing from Lions Gate Hospital’s psychiatric ward a week ago.

Arthur Ruff was last seen by staff in the hospital ward at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 31.

Const. Geoff Harder said Ruff was committed and not allowed to leave the ward at the time he disappeared, but added, “it’s not a locked facility.”

Hospital staff, family and friends are all concerned for Ruff’s wellbeing, he added.

Ruff is described as a white man, five feet seven inches tall and about 170 pounds with grey hair, brown eyes and “numerous tattoos.”

Another man, 52-year-old Timothy Cameron, is also still missing from North Vancouver.

Cameron was last seen Aug. 18.
