Maya Bennett shows her Bill Reid-inspired banner design for Artists for Kids. Bennett’s design is one of five chosen to be made into banners that will be hung on Lonsdale Avenue and Esplanade to coincide with the opening of the new home for the Artist for Kids Gallery at 21st Street and Lonsdale. The winning designs were chosen from hundreds submitted by students who were asked to interpret works of founding sponsors Bill Reid, Jack Shadbolt and Gordon Smith.
