Summer is well on its way, and that means strappy sandals and open-toed shoes are back in full force.

But if your feet are reminiscent of a barnacle-covered rock, you might not be in such a hurry to get rid of those Ugg boots just yet.

Fear not, ladies. Escents Aromatherapy has designed a rescue kit that will freshen up those toes in no time. I know, because I tested it out a few weeks ago.

Step one is remove all the dead and dry skin that has been accumulating over the winter -- sexy, I know. For that, Escents Revitalizing Foot Scrub ($12.95) is the perfect solution. Using pumice and natural oceanic clay, it detoxifies your feet and its essential oils are antibacterial and antifungal. I simply rubbed it on while in the shower and a few minutes later my feet were noticeably softer.

The second step is to lock in moisture using the Revitalizing Foot and Leg Lotion ($16.95). This was like a big glass of water for my dehydrated skin to gulp down. A combination of jojoba oil and wheat germ oil combat dryness, while peppermint and eucalyptus improve circulation.

A bonus is the Foot and Leg Mist ($12.95), which comes in a spritzer bottle for a convenient midday pick-me-up that smells great. Your cubicle mates will be grateful.

The nearest Escents store is at Park Royal's south mall.
